With simple care, your handcrafted Cathance River Stool will last for generations to come. These stools are finished with Tung-oil. Tung-oil is a natural plant based finishing oil that can be found in paint or hardware stores. If your stool becomes scuffed or dull looking, you can give it a quick sand with some fine steel wool or a green plastic scrubbing pad, then wipe it down with a soft rag with a little tung-oil on it. The tung-oil will penetrate the wood. In about 12 hours, wipe off any excess tung-oil and enjoy your stool again.
